My clients sold in a pandemic & took possession on their new place yesterday in #Sicamous in a pandemic... yes business has changed for now but the need to buy and sell houses is still here, not in masses of course like a typical spring in the #Shuswap...the question I get asked the most is should we sell now ?!
That is a personal choice; there is no right or wrong answer, there are risks involved when people come to view your home if it is occupied, if it is vacant that is much easier, we have protocols & disclosures for precautions in place to screen potential buyers and agents who visit homes during these darker times, trust that no buyers out looking or realtors who are out "working" if their clients did not need to buy, in the last month since BC went into a state of emergency, the lawyers or notaries, the lenders and banks, the inspectors and real estate agents, the insurance agents & moving companies are all still doing what they can to make real estate transactions & transitions happen for their clients.
If you have a similar situation and would like to discuss with me please feel free to call me & we can walk through your particular situation. As this too will pass & life as we know it will return and when it does I will be here listing & selling homes.
